To Infinity and Beyond.

These last few days have been...insanity. I've actually been legitimately dizzy at times from how many things I've had to remember and how many places I've had to get in touch with and how many people I've had to say "oh, I'm actually leaving for France, could you fast-track that for me?!" to, while trying to competently balance my full work days and also continue eating and sleeping and breathing...I really thought (a month ago, when it felt like this day would n e v e r c o m e) that I could just throw a toothbrush and some clean underwear into a big backpack and be good to go - however, on this "night-before-country-departure", I've realized that I was so, SO mistaken...

Because guys: preparing to travel is like, really kinda completely exhausting!! Of course, I wouldn't have known this until now. But alas, that's finally changed.

Regardless, I'm heart-poundingly STOKED. Honestly, I won't be sleeping tonight. I haven't slept in days. Every time I take a two minute break from organizing or packing or frantically triple-checking that I have my passport and money and favourite lipgloss, I can hear my daddy whistling "Leaving on a Jet-plane" and it makes my entire body crawl with anticipatory, nervous-happy goosebumps. At just about this time tomorrow, I'll be checking into the airport, ensuring I have everything I need to board, and trying not to vomit out of pure wanderlust excitement.

Please. If you're one to chat with the Notorious G.O.D. - feel free to shoot me a couple 'safe travel' prayers, they would be so appreciated. And if you're not really into that well, you could just wish me luck.

Here's to making my connecting flights, not losing my luggage, not getting lost in France, and having the most incredible post-grad adventure . And hopefully making it out alive.
